It is a pleasure to present the latest edition of the Department of Applied Sciences newsletter. This semester has witnessed dynamic participation in academic discussions, outreach workshops, student-led initiatives, and prestigious inter-school and inter-college events. The commitment of our faculty and staff in guiding students, conducting workshops, and fostering research is highly commendable.

Our department remains dedicated to empowering young minds with the skills, knowledge, and exposure necessary for academic and professional excellence. By integrating experiential learning, hands-on workshops, and mentorship, we ensure that students are prepared to tackle real-world challenges and contribute meaningfully to society.

On behalf of the faculty and staff, I reaffirm our commitment to advancing teaching, research, and outreach initiatives that inspire innovation and excellence in our students.

We hope readers find this newsletter insightful and motivating.

Department at a Glimpse

This department was established in the year 1957, whose role is to deliver excellent quality education in the subject of Applied Sciences and humanities for the future technocrats of all engineering streams. The department also endeavours to inculcate the scientific temper and the spirit of inquest in students. It inspires the students to realize and therefore apply the physical laws to the growth and development of their fields of study.
